Each month the membership gathers on the second Thursday to network, enjoy a meal and hear from a speaker on timely business and economic development topics. Meetings are held at Lakeview Center, 2057 Dawson Forest Road East, Dawsonville, GA 30534. www.lakeviewcentercomplex.com

The meetings are from Noon until 1 p.m.

$12.50 for members who pre-register, $15 for late member registration.

Visitors are $18.

A different business member hosts Business After Hours on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 5-7 p.m. This is an excellent networking opportunity for members to:

1. Become acquainted with other business and community leaders.
2. Learn about the goods and services available locally.
3. Shake hands, pass out business cards and promote your own business!

• People are more likely to do business with someone they have met personally.
• It is important to keep your name and face in front of the buying public.
• Offer door prizes – your products or services and business name will be recognized.

Members may partner and co-host an event together. Businesses with small locations and home-based businesses may call the Chamber office to discuss co-hosting opportunities.

Ribbon-Cutting and Ground Breaking Ceremonies - The Chamber promotes business efforts in Dawson County by coordinating these ceremonies and giving local officials, community leaders, and other business-owners an opportunity to join us in welcoming new members to our area
